Sales Associate – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Associate will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency, identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and presenting insurance solutions that match client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new leads through market research and outreach.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare sales proposals and quotations, and follow up to close deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate delivery of insurance services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in sales systems and provide regular pipeline and performance reports.
• Support account management by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles, preferably within advertising, marketing, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships and manage multiple accounts.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented work style with a willingness to learn about insurance products.
• Fluency in English and local languages; relevant education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software such as email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems.
