Sales & Marketing Manager – Retail & Field Sales

About the role

Ramcogas is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its retail shops and field sales team in Kampala. You will design and execute business plans that drive sales, profit, and customer satisfaction across both store and field channels.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and performance metrics through strategic execution and team management.
• Lead weekly and monthly sales meetings, analyse daily results and develop tactics to increase revenue.
• Maintain market intelligence on competition, trends and best‑practice sales techniques.
• Coach, develop and mentor staff to ensure high performance and build future leadership.
• Promote a culture of total customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols and loss‑prevention measures.
• Prepare and monitor store budgets, inventory control and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail and field sales operations, including merchandising, inventory control and loss prevention.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities with a track record of staff development.
• Excellent critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills.
• Thorough understanding of the company’s products and the competitive landscape.
