Sales Staff – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Staff will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying potential clients, presenting recruitment and advertising services, and converting leads into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and contact new clients to generate business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow‑up activities.
• Provide ongoing support to existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate service delivery and gather market feedback.
• Contribute ideas to improve sales strategies and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales and customer‑relationship experience, including prospecting, lead follow‑up and closing deals.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, comfortable engaging clients in person and by phone.
• Basic knowledge of marketing, advertising or recruitment services and a willingness to learn industry‑specific solutions.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple clients and administrative tasks.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven environment with resilience and initiative.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kampala and with a diverse team.
• Relevant education such as a certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field is a plus.
