Salesperson – Advertising & Recruitment Services

About the role

The Salesperson will join our on‑site team in Kampala to drive new business for our advertising and recruitment services. You will be responsible for prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through calls, meetings and networking.
• Present the agency’s advertising and recruitment offerings and tailor proposals to client needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in the sales system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
• Participate in marketing events and networking activities to generate leads.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of prospecting and closing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse client audiences.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and handle multiple opportunities.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, email and basic office software.
