Salesperson – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Salesperson to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, presenting our services to potential clients, and guiding prospects through the sales cycle to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients for insurance and related services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales records and manage a pipeline using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with the agency manager and marketing team to align client expectations with service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a focus on results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of recruitment, advertising or marketing services, with a willingness to learn.
• Organised, able to manage multiple leads and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (email, spreadsheets).
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems.
