Salesperson – Insurance Solutions (Hybrid, Kampala)

About the role

Liberty Uganda is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to join its insurance team in Kampala. Working in a hybrid model, you will combine office collaboration with remote activities to identify and serve customers seeking life‑changing insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new leads for funeral, life, education, accidental disability, critical illness and health insurance products.
• Schedule, attend and conduct client meetings, presenting policy options and preparing quotations.
• Guide clients through the application, onboarding and policy issuance process.
• Maintain accurate records in the sales system and follow up on leads.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Collaborate with customer service and underwriting colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
• Uphold ethical selling practices and promote customer education about insurance.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven sales, negotiation and persuasion experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Basic understanding of insurance principles; prior insurance experience is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to manage time effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Kampala is advantageous.
