Salesperson – International Trade Finance

About the role

The Salesperson will work on‑site in Kampala, promoting Silicon Valley Global Ph Inc’s international trade‑finance solutions. You will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships and present tailored financial products to support cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and develop leads in the trade‑finance market.
• Conduct sales meetings, presentations and negotiate terms in line with company policies.
• Prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee smooth client onboarding.
• Track activities and pipeline in CRM tools and achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business‑development abilities with a focus on B2B environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Interest or knowledge of international trade, finance or related fields.
• Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or similar is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage time efficiently and handle multiple client engagements.
• High integrity and commitment to inclusive client service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office tools (email, spreadsheets, presentations).
