Salesperson – Loan & Finance Products

About the role

The Salesperson will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala promoting Platinum Credit Limited’s loan and finance products to both existing and potential clients. You will identify prospects, explain product features and eligibility, and guide customers through the application and documentation process while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and conduct basic needs assessments.
• Explain loan product features, eligibility criteria and assist clients with application paperwork.
• Meet and exceed set sales targets and follow up to ensure timely loan processing and repayment.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions and customer interactions using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with branch and credit teams to ensure compliance and a positive customer experience.
• Participate in marketing and outreach activities within the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent customer service, relationship management and communication skills for engaging diverse clients.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of loan products, credit processes and risk awareness.
• Effective time‑management, organization and follow‑up capabilities to handle multiple clients.
• Fluency in English and local languages, with familiarity of the Kampala market.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Experience using CRM tools for lead and customer management.
