Senior Key Accounts Manager (Strategic Sales)

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for a Senior Key Accounts Manager to lead strategic customer relationships across its portfolio in Uganda. You will act as the commercial bridge between customers, sales teams and internal departments, ensuring opportunities move smoothly from prospecting to implementation while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of an assigned portfolio of strategic accounts.
• Support Enterprise Sales Executives and Sales Agents throughout the sales cycle to improve conversion rates.
• Participate in customer meetings, solution presentations, negotiations and proposal discussions.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, conducting regular reviews to uncover new business opportunities.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing service delivery, resolving escalated concerns promptly.
• Identify upsell, cross‑sell and renewal opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value.
• Coach and mentor sales team members, sharing best practices and helping overcome objections.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account management or senior sales roles within the technology sector.
• Strong track record of generating, protecting and growing verified revenue.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, delivery and support functions.
