SSA Aftersales Manager – East Africa

About the role

The SSA Aftersales Manager will lead after‑sales consulting and coaching across Sub‑Saharan markets, driving customer satisfaction, profitability and service quality. You will be responsible for planning, managing and controlling after‑sales performance while improving parts sales.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialised after‑sales consulting services and coaching to market teams.
• Ensure achievement of after‑sales KPIs such as customer satisfaction, growth, profitability and reduction of repeat repairs.
• Plan and control market activities to meet strategic objectives.
• Drive initiatives that boost parts sales performance across the region.
• Travel nationally and internationally for market visits, onboarding and consultations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Commerce or related field.
• At least 5 years of motor‑industry after‑sales experience in Sub‑Saharan African markets.
• Strong understanding of after‑sales business processes, parts wholesale and market conditions.
• Ability to coach, mentor and motivate teams.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and work independently.

Required skills

• Extensive Volkswagen technical product and systems knowledge.
• Motor‑vehicle technical knowledge.
