Compensation & Benefits Supervisor

About the role

Twyford International, a leading ceramic tile manufacturer in Africa, is expanding its HR team in Uganda. The Compensation & Benefits Supervisor will ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain compensation records, and support performance management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly payroll runs, prepare payslips and ensure payments for bonuses, casual staff, salary adjustments, and final settlements.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and maintain accurate payroll documentation in both hard‑copy and electronic formats.
• Prepare General Ledger analyses, submit monthly finance reports, and post finance entries on time.
• Maintain and update the Personnel System, tracking probation assessments, salary changes, promotions, demotions, onboarding, and terminations.
• Support performance management processes and provide timely HR reports to management.
• Assist HR projects and perform any other duties assigned by the HR Manager or Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, payroll administration, or compensation & benefits.
• Strong numerical, analytical and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
