About the role
We are seeking an Outbound Telesales Representative to join M-KOPA’s Customer Retention team. In this role you will contact existing M-KOPA customers and introduce them to additional products such as smartphones, solar home systems or micro‑loans that can improve their lives.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by proactively offering relevant M-KOPA products to existing customers.
- Apply effective sales techniques to meet and exceed campaign conversion and sales targets.
- Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales quotas through disciplined execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships that encourage long‑term loyalty.
- Handle inquiries, objections and concerns professionally, turning hesitation into confidence.
Required profile
- Strong communication and empathy to connect with customers.
- Ability to understand product features and explain benefits clearly.
- Motivation to meet and surpass sales targets.
- Passion for financial inclusion and helping underserved communities.
