About the role

We are seeking an Outbound Telesales Representative to join M-KOPA’s Customer Retention team. In this role you will contact existing M-KOPA customers and introduce them to additional products such as smartphones, solar home systems or micro‑loans that can improve their lives.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by proactively offering relevant M-KOPA products to existing customers.
  • Apply effective sales techniques to meet and exceed campaign conversion and sales targets.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions.
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales quotas through disciplined execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships that encourage long‑term loyalty.
  • Handle inquiries, objections and concerns professionally, turning hesitation into confidence.

Required profile

  • Strong communication and empathy to connect with customers.
  • Ability to understand product features and explain benefits clearly.
  • Motivation to meet and surpass sales targets.
  • Passion for financial inclusion and helping underserved communities.
