Cashier – Savings & Sales Officer

About the role

EMUK Finance Co. Ltd is seeking a diligent Cashier to manage daily cash operations and support clients at its Kampala branch. The role combines cash handling, front‑desk assistance, and coordination with the finance team to ensure smooth branch performance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive payments, issue receipts and reconcile cash balances at the end of each day.
• Assist clients at the front desk, answer basic payment and account inquiries, and direct customers to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure proper documentation of all cash movements.
• Safeguard cash and financial instruments, report any discrepancies, and follow internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support branch operations and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Strong numeracy and basic accounting ability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Integrity, reliability and ability to handle confidential information.
• Computer literacy with familiarity in point‑of‑sale or financial software.
