MEAL Specialist

About the role

Habitat for Humanity Uganda is hiring a full-time, on-site MEAL Specialist in Kampala. Working under the supervision of the Program Director, the Specialist builds Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) into project planning, budgeting and reporting, and champions results-based management, capacity building and innovation. Key responsibilities

• Develop Theories of Change, logical frameworks, indicators and data collection tools.
• Oversee assessments, baselines, evaluations and routine monitoring.
• Institutionalize robust community feedback and accountability mechanisms that foster trust and transparency.
• Support program teams in integrating MEAL frameworks into project planning, budgeting and reporting so that learning drives programmatic adaptation.
• Champion a culture of results-based management, capacity building and innovation, helping the organization demonstrate impact, optimize efficiency and maintain high standards of accountability to partners and communities.
