Sales Representative

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, presenting agency services, and managing the complete sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and develop new client leads.
• Present agency insurance products and services to prospective customers.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate with creative and account‑management teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, generate regular reports, and track performance against targets.
• Provide ongoing support and relationship management for existing clients.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business‑development abilities, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long‑term client relationships.
• Basic understanding of advertising, marketing, and insurance concepts.
• Organized, able to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and collaborate with internal teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
