Staff Accountant (Business Tax)

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to specialize in business tax services for our diverse client base. The role blends technical tax preparation with proactive advisory work, helping businesses navigate growth, recovery, and strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review business tax returns and related financial statements.
• Guide clients through all phases of their business lifecycle, from expansion to restructuring.
• Engage directly with business owners and leaders to identify and solve complex financial challenges.
• Develop strategic advisory plans based on accounting insights and client objectives.
• Respond to client inquiries, interpret financial data, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience in business tax preparation; recent graduates with strong enthusiasm are also considered.
• Background in public accounting is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to look beyond the numbers.
• Team‑player who is humble, driven, and dependable (including a clean driving record).
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building lasting client relationships, especially within the Anabaptist community.
