Carrier Account Manager – Telecom Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a relationship‑driven Carrier Account Manager to own a major mobile network operator portfolio in Uganda. You will act as the bridge between complex network infrastructure solutions and carrier stakeholders, guiding projects from conception through delivery while driving commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day engagement with technical, procurement and operational stakeholders within a major carrier account.
• Ensure alignment on network capacity and infrastructure requirements.
• Lead end‑to‑end project operations as a core team member.
• Collaborate with technical delivery teams to meet network rollout and service objectives.
• Drive commercial transactions and actively participate in high‑value account negotiations.
• Refine contract clauses and resolve operational delivery disputes.
• Translate complex network, IT and telecommunications solutions into clear business outcomes for the operator.

Required profile

• Approximately 4 years of dedicated account management or sales operations experience in the telecom carrier or network vendor sector.
• Solid baseline knowledge of mobile network architecture, communications technologies, or ICT infrastructure solutions.
• Proven experience handling large‑scale commercial contracts, transactional negotiations, and complex project delivery workflows.
• Strong understanding of the corporate structure of mobile network operators in Uganda.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and deliver simple, effective answers to complex carrier demands.
