Client Relations Assistant (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Servtec, a manpower management firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting a Client Relations Assistant (maternity cover) for its client Old Mutual Investment Group in Uganda. The role acts as the main point of contact for investors, resolving queries, requests and complaints quickly while supporting investment products and transactions in line with regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams such as Operations, Business Development, Risk and Compliance, and handle walk-in clients and inbound/outbound calls.
• Manage client onboarding, collect and verify documents, and ensure KYC and AML compliance; keep client records accurate and up to date.
• Support operations around onboarding, deposits and redemptions, and maintain records of transactions and investment data.
• Process deposits and withdrawals accurately and within agreed timelines, following up on pending transactions.
• Monitor cases in the CRM system, record and track client complaints, and update clients on new offerings and market insights.
• Escalate suspected AML, sanctions or compliance breaches to the Risk and Compliance Office.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in client relations, customer service, operations or investor services in financial services, banking, investment management or a related industry.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC and sanctions compliance expectations.

• Problem-solving, attention to detail, time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Discretion and confidentiality regarding client information.
