Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will lead financial planning and analysis for a manufacturing operation, providing insight that drives strategic decisions. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures accurate budgeting, product costing and profitability monitoring across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and analyse the annual budget and periodic forecasts for manufacturing activities.
• Prepare detailed product cost reports and profitability analyses to support pricing and margin improvement.
• Evaluate capital investment projects, performing financial modelling and ROI assessments.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain and sales teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Manage month‑end closing, financial reporting and variance analysis using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control policies.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead budgeting, costing and profitability projects.
