PRIME System Advisor (Fixed Term)

About the role

Save the Children International is looking for a PRIME System Advisor on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. PRIME is the organisation's core business system for managing programmatic projects, covering project management, monitoring and evaluation and business intelligence. The role sits within the Programme Operations department, which delivers humanitarian and crisis response programmes at scale, and reports to the PRIME Product Owner.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to enhancements of PRIME through business analysis: defining, testing and documenting functionality, writing user stories and creating system design documentation
• Provide second-line business and technical support to end users, and work with third-line teams on complex issues
• Improve PRIME uptake, usage and data quality through feedback, audits and better support materials
• Support deployment of PRIME to new offices and new functionality, including change impact assessments and deployment materials
• Help identify end-user learning needs and develop guidance and training materials
• Act as Project Record Manager for PRIME during fast-onset humanitarian responses until a project is established

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related field, preferred but not mandatory with sufficient experience
• Understanding of the NGO context and project management in developmental or humanitarian settings
• Right to work in the country where the role is based for the duration of employment
• English; fluency in French, Spanish and/or Arabic is desirable

Required skills

• Analytical capability and problem-solving, with strong verbal and written communication
• Desirable: systems development experience (requirements gathering, testing, release and change management)
• Desirable: experience designing and delivering IT application training
• Desirable: relevant IT certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or ITIL Foundation
