About the role

Canonical is seeking a Regional SDR Director to lead inbound and outbound sales development teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. You will shape a sales academy culture, mentor managers, and ensure a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline while fostering continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct regional SDR & BDR managers and their teams across three global regions.
  • Maintain and grow a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline through data‑driven forecasting.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop SDR team managers, creating a pipeline of senior sales talent.
  • Align cross‑functional initiatives with Regional Sales VPs, Marketing, and Field Engineering.

Required profile

  • Proven leadership experience in sales development or related functions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent academic background (Bachelor’s degree in Business or STEM).
  • Experience managing remote‑first, asynchronous global teams.

Required skills

  • Expertise with modern sales tech stacks and CRM analytics.
  • Ability to forecast pipeline and drive accountability across regions.
