Sales Executive - Beauty & Cosmetics (FMCG)

About the role

A full-time Sales Executive position in Kampala, focused on business development and onboarding of new B2B clients such as retailers, salons, distributors and beauty shops. The role also covers account management, territory coverage and reporting to the Sales Director.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pitch and onboard new B2B clients to expand market footprint.
• Work with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver client presentations that drive conversion.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients through field visits, follow-ups and customer service.
• Monitor accounts for timely payments, credit control and account management.
• Plan routes, cover the territory and keep an accurate customer database.
• Track product performance, stock levels and competitor activity, and coordinate replenishment with distributors.
• Submit daily and weekly sales and field activity reports to the Sales Director.

Required profile

• 3+ years of FMCG sales experience, specifically in beauty, cosmetics or skincare.
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field (diplomas accepted with strong, relevant experience).
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue.
• Skilled in field sales, retail distribution and modern and general trade (supermarkets, salons, beauty retailers).
• Well-groomed, confident and articulate, able to represent a premium beauty brand.
