Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive position in Kampala, advertised by a recruiter on behalf of an insurance client. The Sales Executive identifies and pursues new business, meets clients and presents agency services to potential and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a sales pipeline, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate terms and close deals in line with company targets
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and provide after-sales support
• Collaborate with internal teams so service delivery matches client expectations
• Report regularly on sales performance, market feedback and competitive activity to help shape sales strategy

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or business development, preferably in an agency or service-oriented environment
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala and adapt to changing client and market needs
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is an advantage

Required skills

• Sales, negotiation and relationship-building, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Communication and presentation skills, and good organization and time management
• Proficiency in basic business tools such as email and spreadsheets, and willingness to learn sales or CRM systems
