Sales Executive - Insurance Agency

About the role

An insurance agency is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Executive in Kampala, reporting to the Insurance Agency Manager within the Sales and Marketing department. The role focuses on finding and prospecting new clients, presenting agency services and building long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients and present agency services
• Conduct sales meetings and presentations, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
• Follow up on leads to close deals
• Work with the advertising and marketing teams to match client needs with suitable solutions
• Track sales performance and keep accurate records in the company's CRM or sales systems
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to support sales strategy

Required profile

• Strong sales prospecting, lead generation and client relationship management skills
• Ability to give persuasive presentations, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
• Understanding of digital marketing, online advertising platforms and campaign metrics
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Prior experience in sales, advertising or marketing is an advantage; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred
