Sales Executive - Uganda

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Sales Executive in Kampala. As part of the Sales team, you will partner with small local stores and larger brands to get them displayed on the Glovo platform, working alongside other sales executives within a local cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales process for visibility assets with current partners, finding and negotiating products suited to their needs and their cities
• Meet monthly and quarterly objectives set by the company
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, pitching, negotiation, deal submission, onboarding and early partner performance
• Prioritise the sales pipeline so deals are submitted with quality and forecasts are reliable
• Work closely with Content, Operations and Finance to unblock onboarding and activation issues
• Monitor early partner activity and performance, taking ownership where metrics fall short after launch

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development or a related commercial role (internships included)
• Strong drive, resilience and a proactive "make it happen" attitude
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability in previous roles
• Solid analytical skills, excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and with ambiguity
