Sales Representative - Advertising Agency

About the role

Link Solutions Uganda, an advertising, marketing and promotion agency based in Kampala, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Representative. The Sales Representative identifies and pursues new business for the agency's services, including prospecting, sales calls and client meetings, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Present service offerings, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate contracts and follow up to close deals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and gather feedback on campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams so that client needs are met.
• Meet sales targets, keep accurate records of sales activities and report regularly on performance and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Good understanding of basic marketing and advertising concepts and willingness to learn the agency's service offerings.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, manage time effectively and handle several client engagements at once.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in common office and communication tools such as email, spreadsheets and presentation software.
• Basic CRM usage is an advantage.
