About the role
The Stock Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate, real‑time records of all raw materials, hardware, adhesives, tools and finished goods. This role ensures smooth inventory flow from receiving through to final dispatch within a retail and FMCG environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain real‑time inventory records using stock management software or logbooks.
- Track inventory movements across receiving, warehouse storage, production issuance, and dispatch.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts (weekly/monthly) and reconcile with system balances.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Establish minimum reorder levels and lead‑time alerts for fast‑moving items such as MDF/HDF boards, hinges, drawer channels, and adhesives.
