Stock Monitor (FLIP)

About the role

A highly organized Stock Monitor is needed to oversee inventory management and ensure accurate tracking of stock movements within the camp. The role covers maintaining inventory records, conducting stock reconciliations and keeping stock available while minimizing losses. The position is based at the Mubende camp, where accommodation is provided and meals are supplied by the company.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movements and inventory levels.
• Receive, inspect and record incoming stock.
• Issue stock according to approved requests.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies or losses.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Prepare stock reports for management.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory and compliance with company inventory procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory or stock management.
• Experience with inventory management systems is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, and excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• High level of integrity and accountability; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to live at the Mubende camp and relocate for the duration of the assignment.
