Hybrid Salesperson – Fintech Solutions

About the role

Highlend is seeking a contract, hybrid Salesperson based in Kampala to drive adoption of its credit decisioning technology among financial institutions across Africa. You will work both on‑site with clients and remotely, balancing client meetings with independent prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective financial institution clients.
• Manage a sales pipeline and schedule product demonstrations for decision‑makers.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms within defined guidelines, and close deals.
• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to gather client feedback and support onboarding.
• Track activities in CRM tools, provide regular sales reports and forecasts, and participate in sales reviews and training sessions.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities with senior stakeholders.
• Comfort with technology and SaaS products, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Basic understanding of financial services or lending processes; experience selling to banks or fintechs is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills
